I recently discussed in a blog post some reasons why organic Instagram growth is dying off for many photographers.
There are numerous culprits as to why the numbers are down, but it doesn’t mean that the platform is completely useless for photographers with less than 10,000 followers.
And just because you don’t have a lot of followers doesn’t mean you can’t engage a lot of people. Hell, I got over 300 likes and a dozen comments on a meme I posted recently, and the Nerdy Photographer account still has less than 100 followers! Those are pretty good engagement numbers.
