It can be hard to get the business part of your photography business done. As photographers, we want to focus on the fun, creative part of the job. Unfortunately, there’s a lot more involved with running a photo business. Which is why I am sharing this photo business hack…

You know what, I personally I hate that term. Photo business hack. In fact, it makes me cringe. It makes you feel like you’re somehow cheating the work. But you aren’t. You’re just working smarter. Forget that I even said it.

But here is what you need to do:

When you start working for the day, do the things you least like to do for the first half hour of the day. Whether that’s answering emails, balancing your books, sending invoice reminders, or scheduling social media or blog posts – get it out of the way!!!

Once it is done, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. At the very least, you got half an hour of the more mind-numbing parts of your job out of the way.

And that is a great place to launch the rest of your day!

Are you going to start implementing this tip? Since I started doing it regularly before the pandemic, my productivity has greatly increased, especially on days when I’m not feeling super motivated.
