I’m not sure why it is, but photographers seem to like to keep their gear boxes. Sometimes for years and years. I recall when my wife and I moved from our apartment in New York City, where space is definitely at a premium, and I pulled a box full of boxes out of my closet.
Why do we do it? Why do we hold on to these empty boxes.
Sometimes, I’m sure, it’s because we want to keep the box in case we are going to return or sell the piece of camera gear.
Do all photographers do this? It’s not just me, right?
Other photographers tell me that they do the same thing so I know I’m not crazy.
