Do you want to know how to become a better photographer? It’s really, really simple!
Yes, you have to PRACTICE!!
And I don’t mean just asking other photographers what settings to use. I mean reading, research photo techniques, and then go out and practice.
Just get out there and do it. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have models to work with or events to shoot, you can still PRACTICE!
A photographer commented on this meme when I shared it on Instagram that he used to put a piece of paper on a stick in his back yard to practice lighting. I used to do something similar with a wig form both outside and in my apartment in NYC.
Find ways to practice!! You will be glad you did, and you will strengthen your skills.
